BizTalk 2004 machine is running windows 2003 with Network DTC Access
turned on for Network Admin & Network Transactions.

I checked some article it say For W2K the defalut DTC Security on port
(3372) is open
For W2K3 the defalut DTC security on the port is closed.

Should i open 3372 port to connect remote SQL Server.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,
I had a similar problem. Follow this kb
http://www.yqcomputer.com/
Be sure to reboot the SQL server after the completion.

Good luck.

Hi,

Still doesn't work?
We've used the DTC Tester tool before on a different machine.

Please post back if you get it to work.

Good luck again.

New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator

Hi. We are receiving the error "New transaction cannot enlist in the
specified transaction coordinator" out of the blue by BizTalk when it
attempts to send a message to a SQL send adapter. We have BizTalk 2004
running on a Windows 2003 server sp1 calling a stored procedure on SQL
Server 2000 running on a separate Windows 2003 server also sp1.

Everything was working fine when it suddenly started erroring for each time
it used the send port. We checked MSDTC settings and they all look fine.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Issue resolved. Someone had been changing low level network settings
somewhere which suddenly meant that NetBIOS was not working for the server -
ping would not even work. MSDTC is dependent upon the NetBIOS name of the
server being accessible. Bizarelly nothing else was impacted, only MSDTC.

We raised this issue to the network team - they changed something back and
it all worked fine. Relief!

Hope this helps someone else in the future.
