Indeed special case 2: neg zero, all other cases: carry flag set, why ?

Hmmm to answer my own question, it's documented, but it raises a new
question:

For source operand being zero, the carry flag is not set, for all others
it's always set... which is kinda weird as welll... why is carry flag always
set ?


?

almost always set...

ok, you're thinking too hard now...

first, look for another post I sent a few moments ago... it has examples on
multi-part NEG's and why you need that darn carry flag...

second, you might want to take a breather, watch a tv show, relax a bit,...
go for a swim (unless you're in the southern hemisphere right now)...

...sometimes things clear up when you stop thinking about them for a
while...
