This innovative company is looking for Jr-Mid-Level Oracle Developer/Analyst

Performs a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements using Oracle software. Maintain and modify PL/SQL programs. Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, Oracle database, and programming technology. Refine data and format final product. Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Test and develop programming modifications. Write new program code using prescribed specifications. Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part. Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor. Write and maintain programming documentation. Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference. Maintain UNIX Korn shell scripts as needed. Responsible, eventually, for both daytime and nighttime production support.I expect the individual to have a minimum of 5 years Oracle experience with UNIX experience helpful but not required. Requirements: * Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, good communication and writing skills, experienced with project life cycle phases, ability to work in a team environment and as an individual * AIX server with Korn Shell scripting, Analysis skills, experienced with development project life cycle, self-starter Work Schedule: 8A-5P Monday through Friday, however, after training ~ 6-9 mos., individual will join the on-call rotation for 2-week production support. Production support is 24X7 for the two-week period.
