error: capiplugin: CAPI_REGISTER failed ...

error: capiplugin: CAPI_REGISTER failed ...

Hi,

I connect to the internet (ISDN) with the command
</usr/sbin/pppd call isdn/arcor usepeerdns>.

It works, but just once after starting the computer (Debian Sarge).

When I disconnect and try to connect again, it doesn't connect and I
get the following message:

Plugin userpass.so loaded.
userpass: $Revision: 1.4 $
Plugin capiplugin.so loaded.
capiplugin: $Revision: 1.34 $
capiconn: 1.9

plus this error message:

capiplugin: CAPI_REGISTER failed - CAPI not installed (0x1009)
[No such device or address (6)]

After restarting the computer I can connect once again and so on ...

Does anybody know the reason for this error message? How can I
reconnect without this error message and without restarting the
computer?

Thanks for any help.
HF

Maybe you should ask this question in a newsgroup covering
Linux instead of ISDN, because I can think of a configuration-
problem being the reason for this.
