UUS1/UUS3 sending: Existing code? Debugging?

Post by a.goerlac » Sat, 06 Mar 2004 21:12:18

Hi,

i am trying to send UUS-Messages (preferred UUS1) via ISDN. But all
these ETSI and CAPI things are beginning to drive me crazy %-|

Question: is the either existing code to send UUS (so i at least would
know the Telekom enabled it) or possibilities for debugging (isdnlog
only has hex dumps?)?

Current status: i am sending a string via CONNECT_REQ which i can
identify in the isdnlog hex dump. The network is not sending back an
error but also not forwarding the string to the recipient. So how can
i figure out what is wrong? Is it me or the Telekom doing wrong?

Any hints?

Thanx
Andreas

German Telekom allow UUS only with a point-2-point configuraiton,
not with normal bus-operation. On top of this, it has to be subscribed
for something like ?5 per month.

Yes, thanks. I know that. I have two boxes but currently only using
one. But anyway: it should be possible to send from one MSN to another
even if both are on the same S0-Bus, shouldn't it?
