Can't connect to FTP site with Linksys router attached to Cable modem

Hey guys,
I cannot connect to an FTP site(website service hosting my website).
It gives me "error opening folder on ftp server, access permission
denied". I believe it has to be something with port forwarding on my
linksys router since i have private ips, but i don't know how to
configure or edit this. I went to the library and can ftp the site ok,
so i know it has to do with my little network at home. Any info would
be greatly appreciated!!! My 4port linksys router is attached to my
cable modem(road runner) and going to Internet is no problem and
seeing my other computers on network is no problem also.

I have the same problem, and passive mode does not help. Any other
ideas? I know the port in the firewall on the other end is open.

What FTP client are you using?

I use WS_FTP in passive mode behind a Linksys router on Comcast - no prob.
