Cisco radius attributes with Funk Steel-Belted Radius Server

Post by deheinz » Sat, 08 Nov 2003 06:54:02

I am trying to use these attributes with Funk Steel-Belted radius

RADIUS user attributes used for VLAN ID assignment are:

IETF 64 (Tunnel Type)-Set this to VLAN
IETF 65 (Tunnel Medium Type)-Set this to 802
IETF 81 (Tunnel Private Group ID)-Set this to VLAN ID
The Cisco IOS/PIX/RADIUS Attribute (009\001 cisco-av-pair

I want to do RADIUS-based VLAN-ID assignment per user but can not get
it to work with Funk. Has anyone had sucess doing this.

1. Microsoft CA, Windows Mobile Devices, Steel-Belted RADIUS, Access Points

2. Windows 2003 CA w/ Steel-Belted RADIUS

Dear Security Experts,

Does anyone ever experience with Microsoft CA (Windows 2003 STD) that
works with the Juniper(formerly Funk) Steel-Belted RADIUS?

So far, I can only using the Juniper(formerly Funk) Odissey Certificate
Authority, which is theirs?

I installed the the Microsoft CA with IIS, then try to request
certificate by: http:/<CA_ServerName>/certsrv

Now, I'm totally lost on how to generate PKCS#12 format .pfx certificate
that will work with the Steel-Belted RADIUS Server.
