The following updates are from the Internet-based Distributed Computing

cover public distributed computing projects (projects in which anyone can
participate).

September 13, 2004

- new upcoming life sciences project:

Lattice Project will combine computing grids and BOINC clients to research
problems in bioinformatics

Clear Landmines charity project has ended

- on September 9,
( http://www.yqcomputer.com/ #foldingathome )
Folding@home passed the 1,000,000 total CPUs and 100 TFLOPs marks

- ( http://www.yqcomputer.com/ #nfsnet ) NFSNET
completed sieving 11^199 - 1 and began sieving 7^233 + 1 and 6^257 + 1
today. This is the first time the project has begun two sieving projects
at the same time.

Sieve has sieved all of its k's to 50T as of September 10
