LHC@home is currently only in its beta test phase, and already has the
1000 test users it needs. Please do not contact the project team asking to
be a tester. I will update my site when the project needs more testers.

ChessBrain is an official 2005 Guiness World Record holder for "The World's
Largest Networked Chess Computer" as of September 1

Open Mind Indoor Common Sense participants can now earn a maximum of 4 US$25
Amazon.com gift certificates. To earn a certificate, a participant must
submit 500 entries to the project. 15 of the 50 gift certificates have been
awarded as of today.

Einstein@Home is running a new, separate, beta-test project,

Einstein@Home client application. Pirates@Home is a

BOINC-based client and BOINC users can participate in it now.

- version 3.20 of the
( http://www.yqcomputer.com/ #boinc ) BOINC
platform client is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX and Solaris as
of July 13 (it appears to have been updated for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX
after July 11)

- version 1.2 of the
( http://www.yqcomputer.com/ #pancakes ) Pancakes
client is available as of today. Also, the project found a +5 solution to
the 42 pancakes stack on July 18, 2004.
