2. PN: ODBC Compliance of Data Direct ODBC drivers to SQL Server ODBC drivers

Hi All,
I've been looking around for a unix based ODBC newsgroup but could not
find one.

My question is this:

I have developed an ETL tool that runs great on win2000/ODBC 3.6+.
I've used it on SQL Server, Oracle and Sybase IQ. I used the SQL
Server 2000 documentation of ODBC functions calls to write the code.

I am about to port it to Solaris 9/Oracle 9.2. We have the Data
Direct 4.1 drivers that are bundled with DataStage 7.0.

Does anyone know if the Data Direct drivers will be ODBC 3.6
compliant? On their web site I can only find a reference which lists
the functions that are supported. I can't find a statement that tells
me exactly what the functions do or exactly what level of ODBC they
are compliant with....

Also, if anyone has done what I am about to do and would like to share
their experience I would be very keen to hear from you.

Best Regards

Peter Nolan
