How to visit a function definition in an include file?

Post by Bogus Use » Mon, 21 Jul 2003 12:28:29

I didn't know about find-file-at-point, so I'm glad I read this thread,
but I don't think that answers the original question. The original
question, I believe, is if you have code like

if (flag)
foo();

and you have the cursor on foo(), is there a way to jump to the
definition of that function if the definition is not in the current file?

I think it can be done if you use ctags (or etags?). I'm not a guru by
any stretch, so there may be another way. Or I may just be wrong.

Thanks,
Rich
