BasiliskII Sheep_net fails to make on Debian Unstable

Post by sdavis0 » Fri, 17 Oct 2003 10:12:06

Hi,

I am having all sorts of troubles making the sheep_net drivers on
Debian Unstable 2.4.21. When I run a make modules or a make
specifically for sheep_net I get the errors below.

I was also thinking about trying to use the sheep_net drivers from
MOL. They do compile fine on Debian, but I'm not too sure how to link
them in appropriately.

Has anyone had any luck recently setting up sheep_net on Linux for
Basilisk?

Thanks for your help

2. Problem making kernel with debian unstable due to make upgrade

Folks,

If anybody else is banging their heads against the wall and uses
debian unstable this seems to be due to a make bug in the current
version.

In particular mine happened with make going from 3.80+3.81.b4-1 to
3.80+3.81.rc1-1

There is a bug report at http://www.yqcomputer.com/

Just to let you know as I'm sure others of you will soon be as
frustrated as me - particularly when I have a box that takes an hour
to compile....
