How to use shadow map texture with normal textures

Post by Robb » Tue, 02 Sep 2008 20:09:36

The problem is simple:
I have a scene compsed of textured objects. Now I've just added
shadows using shadows map textures. But now I have no more normal
texture on my object.
How can I have both shadows and normal texture?
Thank you.

2. texture mapping problem: black line appears where the two parts of the texture meet

Dear all,

I am trying to map a texture to a 3D model (a face). The texture is
actually a single image composed of two images: one taken from one side
and one from the other side. Texture coordinates of my mesh are correct,
I checked by plotting them on the texture.

What happens is that the region of the model where the two textures
should join, is black. I am not that experienced with OpenGL, perhaps I
am doing some stupid mistake, hopefully someone of you has an idea of
what could cause this problem and what to try?
