I have a model that is animated using IK ( I didn't make it). Anyway, I
need to somehow sample the animation every few milliseconds and create
keyframes, because my exporter doesn't know what to do with the IK info.
Does maya have a converter from IK animation to the equivalent using basic
rotations, scalings, and translations with keyframes? I think generally
it's called "Baking animations".
Any help would be appreciated. If this wasn't clear let me know and I will
rephrase, I'm actually a programmer not a 3D artist, and trying to get a
model working in a program.
