Command line in Corel Draw 11 or 12?

Post by Nooze » Sun, 13 Feb 2005 03:21:05

Just wondering...

In Corel Draw 11 or 12, is there any way I can create objects by entering
their parameters manually?

For example, if I want a line drawn between two specific points it can be a
paint to draw using the mouse. Is there a way I could say "line 50,50 - 100,
100" or for relative co-ordinates "line 50,50 +50,+50"?

Thx!

No.

You're going to have to use VBA. Try over at http://www.yqcomputer.com/
much info.

If you keep your eye on the bottom left corner of the screen, you could
conceivably use that reference when you're drawing (click the mouse when you
see the coordinates you want).

As far as entering the coordinates totally manually... what ah says.

The previous responses to your question basically sum it up. You can,
however, type in the co-ordinates of either end of your line, or the
centre of the line using the transformation docker window (select
position option). Firstly, draw the line. Then, you choose the end of
the line you want to give a co-ordinate to (by selecting the
registration point in the docker window) and then type in the values.
0,0 is the bottom left hand corner of the page. The line will shift to
the point you entered.
