Hello,

I was developing an application, and it compiled, builded fine. On running
the application, I get the following error:

exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b
with the CPU address pointer pointing towards POP ESI

I tried looking through google and through the subscription forums and found
the error to be related towards IE / Norton Anti Virus, however, I get the
same error when I run the application with Norton Disabled.

This application reads data from a PCI board and paints it on the screen. I
have done a similiar application with a VME interface with no problems,
although this was done in a Windows NT platform. The PCI design was done
within
XP Platform.

I was wondering if this has something to do with the design of the PCI
drivers which causes this error.

Cheers,

0x0eedfade is the exceptioncode for borland delphi exceptions. This
means somewhere in the code there is raised an software exception.
