There are a number of things that can cause that. Try the easy
workaround first, though.
Instead of using the Export PDF function, just print to Distiller.
Ensure that you have the latest AdobePS PPD file in your PPD4 folder. If
you still have the problem, print to Distiller but, on the Options tab
of the Print dialog, select Print to File. Then manually run the
resulting .ps file through Distiller, checking first to ensure that you
have the correct JobOptions set in Distiller.
If there is still a problem, troubleshoot as follows:
1. Disk Cleanup
4. Print to Distiller in smaller page ranges. This may resolve the
problem by itself or it may enable you to isolate the problem to a
particular page (by successively dividing the problem section).
5. If you can isolate the problem to a particular page, recreate the EPS
graphic on that page. (If there are multiple EPSs on the page, delete
one at a time to find out which one is the problem.)
