Modify a VOIP Buffers On-The-Fly

Post by I. leshe » Mon, 28 Jul 2003 20:35:31

Hi All,

My application is composed of several executables. One application is a VOIP
application and streaming to the internet from the sound card microphone(or
from a disk wave file). I need a second application to modify the VOIP
application's directshow buffers, on the fly, without changing the source of
the VOIP application.
Can someone advise how to do it?

Thanks In Advance

Without modifying the source of the VOIP app you can't, AFAIK. You need
some way to hook into its graph to do this.

Thanks to both,

The example that Mr. Greg introduces is very simialar to what we need. I
downloaded this software from http://www.yqcomputer.com/
realy modifies the VOIP internet chat(which is some kind of VOIP
application). Thogh its not exactly what we want to realize, it proves that
this is possible. You only have to run the modifier program before the VOIP
application (otherwise it wouldn't work).

If someone can farther advise how this works it would be grat.

Thanks again Mr. Hare and Mr. Greg
