I have contouring water levels in multiple test wells. However, when

ArcGIS interpolates, it often interpolates well into the negative numbers.

However, since i am using POSITIVE numbers for BELOW the surface, a negative

number would mean that water is ABOVE the surface, which is not possible.

So, how do i make it interpolate and understand that the level cannot go

above the ground (0), in other words, make it interpolate everything and

have nothing less than 0??

2. Can extensions from academic version of ArcGIS 9 work with regular version of ArcGIS 9?

Hello,

I purchased the full version of ArcGIS 9 while out of school, but

haven't installed it yet. After a year layoff, I'm returning to

school.. Part of my school project that I'm proposing will require

Spatial Analyst to run. If I purchase the academic version Spatial

Analyst extension will it run with the regular version of ArcGIS 9, or

do I need to get the regular version of Spatial Analyst?

Also, does anyone know if the Spatial Analyst extension for ArcGIS 8.3

will work with 9?

TIA.
