2. Can extensions from academic version of ArcGIS 9 work with regular version of ArcGIS 9?

Hello,

I purchased the full version of ArcGIS 9 while out of school, but
haven't installed it yet. After a year layoff, I'm returning to
school.. Part of my school project that I'm proposing will require
Spatial Analyst to run. If I purchase the academic version Spatial
Analyst extension will it run with the regular version of ArcGIS 9, or
do I need to get the regular version of Spatial Analyst?

Also, does anyone know if the Spatial Analyst extension for ArcGIS 8.3
will work with 9?
