You should override your pin's CheckConnect method and agree to the
connection attempt with the demux. You can also step into the base
implementation to see where the agreement currently fails.

2. Problem with IAsyncReader interface doesn't work with MPEG-2 Demultiplexer

Hi all,

I created my own DirectShow souce filter to implement a pull-mode (mpeg2-ps)
mechanism filter based on the CAsyncReader.

It failed to connect with Standard MPEG-2 Demultiplexer. Same problem appear
on the Direct Show sample "Sample File Source (Async.)" filter but not with
the "File Source (Asunc.)". It turn out that IAsyncReader implementation as
describe in the document is not enought for the MPEG-2 Demultiplexer.

Test:
Uses the "Sample File Source (Async.)" sample filter in DirectX SDK loading
up a mpeg2 program stream fail to connect with standard MPEG-2 Demultiplexer.

Is there any way to meke "Sample File Source (Async.)" to work with MPEG-2
Demultiplexer in pull mode.

Thanks for any help.

Regards,
Peter
