Reading and Writing from ASCII text files

Hi,

I have a program that appears to be reading and writing to an ASCII text
file via ADO as if it were a relational database.

I need to access this database to add additional tables and make other
structural (and sometimes data) changes.

How do I do it?

I've looked through the Visual Data Manager, which isn't particularly
useful, as I can't see the tables.

Ideally, if I could connect SQL Query Analyser to this text file (it's a
.sys file) to query the database, that would be even better!

Thanks in advance,
