Eiffel web presence restructured

The web presence of The Eiffel Compiler has been restructured.

A language description has been started. The language description will
follow the outline of the famous book "The C programming language"
from Brian Kernighan and Denis Ritchie. It will start with an
introductory tutorial (already there), a more complete introduction
into the language with many complete code examples (still missing) and
a concise reference manual with a description of the standard
libraries (2 chapters already there).

Have fun.

Any feedback is welcome.

Glad you ask for some :-)

My first suggestion is to have the tutorial start at the very first leaf
with links to a multi paradigm approach (e.g., now by following the "The
C programming language" outline you're following the procedural approach).

IMNSHO we need to teach OO languages from the square one with an OO
approach.

I don't know what you have in mind exactly. The goal is not to follow
"The C programming language" in all aspects. We are trying to follow
the basic principle "the best way to learn a language is to write
programs in it".

Therefore the language description will contain a lot of complete
examples. And the first examples are relatively simple and shall
demonstrate the basic "How to write programs doing quite simple tasks
in Eiffel". The first examples shall not need a lot of theoretical
background.

If you follow the tutorial introduction you will encounter more and
more examples using the power of OO.

But if you have some examples with more OO involved or you can improve
my examples, go ahead and tell me.
