Problem getting the message body when using SMTP event sink OnPostCategorize

Hi,

I am using Exchange 2003 and Microsoft outlook 2003.
I have an SMTP sink that catches the incoming emails.
I can't get the message body when using ms outlook but I do
get it when using outlook express.

I noticed that all emails coming through MS Outlook have a content type
application/ms-tnef ; name="winmail.dat" (by checking the CDO message within
the sink)
when it should be text/plain;......

my outlook settings are as follows:
Mail format : Plain text
Internet format : Convert to plain text
and using unicode (UTF-7)

I am sending plain text without attachments.

Any help would be very much appreciated,

Thanks

1. Getting a messages MAPI properties in and SMTP event sink

2. Problem with OnPostCategorize SMTP event

We have written code that is called for the OnPostCategorize SMTP event. In
tha code we save the e-mail message off as a .EML file and mark it to
prevent delivery. After we have checked and approved the message, we place
the .EML file in the pickup directory of the Exchange server, so that it
will be delivered.

We have come across a problem. If the e-mail message is a message that has
been forwarded to an internal Exchange user, when the message is delivered,
all of the message bodies appear, but no attachments appear. Even if I add
attachments to the message.

Exchange is unwrapping the TNEF because the bodies are correct but why would
it not with the attachments?

As always...any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, David
