RDOSesion.GetFolderFromID() fails i a strange way

One of our clients, who use a product with the redemption library included,
keeps on getting errors in RDOSession.GetFolderFromID(EntryID, StoreID) (both
arguments are included and are valid) with a truly monstrous error
description:

Error in IMAPISession.OpenMsgStore: MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED
Make sure your code runs under the Windows user identity that has MAPI
profiles.
When running in a service (including ASP under IIS), set your code to run
under
the Windows user account that has MAPI profiles.
When connecting to an Exchange Server, you can also use
RDOSession.LogonExchangeMailbox
which does not require an existing profile.
Error: The file C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is already in use by
the maximum number of applications. Close some of these applications, and
then try again.
Component: Personal Folders

I'm really frustrated with that, mainly because nobody (including almighty
Google) can help me with that.
So, maybe you could explain me the nature of this? Or, at least, give some
tips how to bypass that?

So what is the context of that call? Is your code running under the identity
of the Windoes user who owns the mailbox?
