Post by karz » Mon, 08 Dec 2003 11:56:01

hi this is my first post... so very big HELLO to every1.

i am writing a report on ORB implementation, both free and commercial. So far i have 3 free ( OmniORB, JacORB, MICO )and 3 commercial ( E*ORB, VisiBroker, Orbacus ).
My question is which is one of these ORB implementation with the most advanced support (in general) or is there any other ORB that is much more advanced.

your suggestion will be deeply appriciated.
thank you, in advanced.

Karz,

You might check out Arno Puder's feature matrix page:
http://www.yqcomputer.com/

It looks like Tao and OpenOrb are other good candidates for the free
software category.

Karz,

Another commercial Java ORB implementation is ORBexpress for Java. You
can find more info on our ORB at: http://www.yqcomputer.com/
is on combining both quality and high-performance in a Java ORB
implementation.

Thanks,
Brad
