cyrus - sieve fileinto with altnamespace

cyrus - sieve fileinto with altnamespace

Post by adant » Sun, 31 Aug 2003 10:11:51

Hi All,

I'm running cyrus 2.1.12 with postfix, using fetchmail to grab my mail
and sieve to filter. I have sieve setup to filter based on the
extension in plus addressing like so:

if envelope :localpart :contains "to" "test" {
fileinto "INBOX.test";
}

so all emails addressed to adante+test@localhost are put into my test
subdirectory.

This works fine, but when I enable the altnamespace and run
translatesieve (am I correct in saying this just removes INBOX. from
all fileinto statements?) the fileinto filtering no longer works. Even
something like

if true {
fileinto "test";
}

doesn't do anything.

I've read the doc and googled far and abroad but haven't come up with
anything regarding sieve filtering in an altnamespace.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
