Debian - Cyrus21 impossible connection

Hi,

I got a problem since yesterday night, after I've restarted my Linux
machine, Cyrus stopped working. The machine was running fine for more than
2 weeks, same thing for Cyrus.

I only error I can find is in the /var/log/mail.log and /var/log/mail.err:
Mar 8 10:26:39 sopadesk01 cyrus/master[10227]: can't open pidfile: Bad file
descriptor

I get this message every 2 minutes in the logs.

If I try cyradm, it stopped as soon as it's started and same thing if I try
to telnet on port 143, even if I can see the daemon running (ps aux).

I'm running Debian Sarge, Linux kernel 2.6.10, Cyrus 2.1.17-3 (Debian
packages installed: cyrus21-admin, cyrus21-clients, cyrus21-common,
cyrus21-impad).

Does anyone see this kind of problem or have an idea/a way to maybe find out
what's wrong?

Thank you in advance,

Cedric
