And what about switching to some other SMTP server, which you can
actually manage (exim, postfix)? ``Use the right tool for the task''
should be one of the most respected rules in the Unix world.

More importantly, "each tool should do one thing well". This is outside
Mutt's demesne, strictly in the demesne of the MTA, and Unix tool design
allows you to switch tools without much impact on other parts of the
system.
