I've been reading the documentation, and I've so far failed to come up
with a solution to the following problem:

I want, in index or pager view, to be able to send the current
message's message-id and folder to a Perl script. I'm happy to extract
the message-id from the Perl script - and I can see how I'd send just
the email to the script, but the inclusion of the mailbox it's in is
providing a sticking point. Any sensible comments?

the pipe-message command gives the message - nothing more.
there would certainly be uses for sending the current
folder name and index number, but as this is not part
of the message it would be wrong to send it, too, see?
