A possible way to change the background color of a disabled edit control

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a way to change the background color of an
edit control which is disabled/read-only. Anyone knows something?

The main problem is that I was forced to return a white brush in
WM_CTLCOLORSTATIC. Now the disabled edit control stays white, too.
I want the edit control to be grayed, too.

I am looking for your feedback. Thanks in advance.

Vinzenz

check the control-id in WM_CTLCOLORSTATIC and return the
brush for the appropriate control.
