Microsoft Windows Embedded Devices Group, in collaboration with the
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) Computer
Society International Design Competition (CSIDC), invites student teams to
participate in the first official Microsoft Windows ChallengE ("ChallengE").
The theme of the 2004 competition is "Making the World a Safer Place."
The Windows ChallengE contest is an alternate way to enter the CSIDC 2004, a
competition designed to advance excellence in computer science and computer
engineering education by having student teams design and implement
real-world systems. For the 2004 competition, students are asked to design
an innovative prototype that enhances human safety. Both competitions
emphasize teamwork in the design, implementation, and testing of a
computer-based system. Read Criteria for Participating in the Windows
ChallengE to find out about eligibility and project specifications.
