Hi all,

I have been attempting to get either mandrake or rh (latest) to work
on a 266xl with 96mb ram. rh kernel will not load.. mandrake loads
after much work and pain but fails saying memory is missing (?)


anyone with linuc/266xl experience who wouldnt mind helping??

I have a new 164 lx comming tomorrow and am VERY frusterated(sic)

From where you're booting, floppy/cd ?
And how you boot, eg. in milo 'boot fd0:/vmlinuz root=/dev/fd0
load_ramdisk=1'

I have never got booted if I try kernel from cd, but when from floppy it
works fine.
