upgrade to win2000

Post by Eric Wajnb » Tue, 05 Oct 2004 23:05:39

Dear all,

I am using djgpp for years, without any problem on windows 98. Recently, I
changed my machine and I am now using windows 2000 on it.

I declared the environment variable DJGPP that pointed to the right file,
and updated also the variable PATH.

I just copied all files of the root directory and sub-directories, but I
remained unable to run djgpp (& rhide). I got a system crash all the time.

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance for any help on that.

Best, Eric.

Please make sure the .EXE files you are using are dated after December 2000.
You will need to download new .zip files and install over your current
distribution if you are not using update 3 of V2.03 or the V2.04 beta
releases.

Ok, you were right, thanks.

I dowloaded and re-install everything. The compiler seems ok. But this is
rhide that raises now some problems and is unstable.

I have to launch it twice before being able to have it. Also, the Ctrl-C
command to break execution freeze everything, and I did not tested
everything...

Can someone helped me?

Please....

Eric.
