Announcement: Another WIP release of DR-DOS 7.01.07 with several bug fixes and enhancements

Hi folks!

The latest work-in-progress version of the forthcoming DR-DOS 7.01.07
features several useful enhancements. The new XBDA config.sys command
will move the Extended BIOS Data Area to upper mem or lower base mem if
the memory manager fails to do this, which is good for those who are
using UMBPCI, for example. HIFILES is now compatible with Windows 3.x,
freeing up additional base mem in configurations for which Windows is
important. Also, there are fixes of several critical bugs, including one
that is probably at least as old as OpenDOS, and many programs that
stopped working in the last version will now work again.
As usual, please report any bugs you might encounter so they can be
fixed as soon as possible.

Have fun!

Udo

The preferred place to report any problems is the DR-DOS forum at
http://www.yqcomputer.com/
where they can be discussed with other DR-DOS users.
