Really? I must have missed the IBM OS2 users who said they were having
problems with it. But making it simple for you; if its ecs users having
the problem, then its an ecs failure and it belongs in the ecs newsgroup
-- like you do douggie.

I started this thread an am an OS/2 user.

Acrobat 4 will not install on my system.

Is that simple enough for you?

Actually it does. Check the eCS newsgroups where the pitiful handful of
eCS Lusers have repeatedly reported the Acrobat 4 problem without
resolution. The failure of Acrobat 4 to install under a so-called 'eCS
system' is now the laughing stock of the eCS newsgroups.

To be accurate, there are a number of ecs users here claiming they are
using OS2. Its a funny thing; the users of OS2 from IBM are not reporting
this problem. ecs users are. -- Connect the dots.

My version of OS/2 is not eCS; it's not "from IBM" either. As I recall,
I bought it in 1996 from Electronics Boutique (or was it Fry's? -
doesn't really matter, my MCP CDs *are* from IBM). Say what you like
about eCS, but it has absolutely nothing to do with this problem.
