If, as I've heard, its purely the code Peter Dibble wrote as an
illustration for his book "OS9 Insights", then its amazingly well
designed, implemented and surprisingly reliable. I've used it for years
without problems. There are only four improvements that I can think of:
1) Handle the volume label as a label, not as a directory entry
2) Implement long names after the kludgey Win 95/98 fashion.
Not a trivial task, I suspect.
3) Add a DOS disk formatting utility - also non-trivial.
4) Improve its speed (but that goes for native OS-9 floppy formats too).
