Hi all,

I am presently working on OS9000 , is it possible to write a program
for formating the ATA hard disk , i mean is there any system call
there for formatting disk for FAT file system.

Not that I'm aware of, but then I use ASK V2.4 where the only FAT access
was Peter Dibble's IOManager and a new descriptor or two. That was more
or less targeted at accessing DOS floppies and assumes that you'll use
DOS/Windows to format disks.

Do you have PCformat to use with PCF on your system ? It is in my OS-9
/ X86 cmds dir.
