[VxW] Using bundled-PPP as PPP server

[VxW] Using bundled-PPP as PPP server

Hi,

We have implemented ppp of vxWorks 5.4 configured as server. There is good information in borkhuis' web page and there is also application note in windrivers web page. As far as I remember you should define PPP_OPT_PASSIVE_MODE and PPP_OPT_SILENT_MODE in config.h. In the function pppInit you could assign an IP address to the client side.

Hi, all

I would like to implement a PPP server on my target board. I intend to
use the bundled-PPP of VxWorks 5.5. I would like to know:
1. Is it possible to program the bundled-PPP to detect for
IPCP-Config-Req from a remote PPP client, so that the server side
application can start the IP addr allocation processing?
2. How to instruct the bundled-PPP to assign the allocated IP addr to
the PPP client?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thank you for all the guidance.
Now I know how to configure the bundled-PPP as a PPP server.
