libxcb openSUSE 10.3

Hi Group,

I am running matlab 7 SP2 on a Dell Dimension 8400 with
openSUSE 10.3.

I get the following error message:

libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to unlock a connection
without having acquired
a lock first, which indicates a programming error.
There will be no further warnings about this issue.
libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to lock an already locked
connection,
which indicates a programming error.
There will be no further warnings about this issue.

Matlab starts fine but it either gets very very slow or
crashes after a few seconds.

I tried export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=true
as a workaround but this didn't help.

Thanks for your comments
Christian
