Anyone else getting automatic akcknowledgements from the OFT, thanking
them for emails they haven't sent? I wonder who could possibly be
pinching other people's email addresses to abuse the OFT.

enthusiasts.

Is this meant to make the man or woman who is supposedly doing this to
not want to do this, if they are already doing it???? It seems more
likely that they will have a go at you, the fact is no one else seems
to have had these emails so far, stop making things up Tony and support
RISC OS.
Either way do not blame me.

Can't you make up your mind about that then?

I think people did mention something similar happening to them a few
weeks ago, as well as the abuse of the mail to news gateway.

We still do not know who if anybody is responsible, never mind their sex ;-),
you missed out last time so are trying to get in on the act :-)
Do you have any evidence of the perpetrator?

[about Tarquin Mills]

That is a very common scenario with mental disorders, actually. On the
subject of this particular situation, I don't think the legislative and
medical worlds have yet caught up with the implications of continuing to
allow access to mentally disturbed people of online communications
facilities -- hence scenarios such as this one. One day, they'll get it
sussed out and act accordingly...

I should they'd need Constables in some of the... Oh, /those/ "PCs"...

Well, in that case, they need to be protected from "outsider" access,
just as I saw in our local Jobcentre some nine years ago -- a keycard on
a chain, removal of which put the c-thingy into a protected mode.
