...and promptly got sidelined - don't think it can't happen again!

For someone who preaches about following conventions you show a singular
lack of that trait yourself - the convention in these groups is to top-post,
as you're well aware now.
Not that I particularly care whether you top- or bottom-post - or whether
you never post another message to these groups. It is, however, common
courtesy to flag Off-Topic messages
Three of the groups to which you posted are for assistance to users of
Windows. I fail to see how the BS you posted could assist those posters in
anything except an intellectual manner - mostly by demonstrating your own
lack of intellectual development.

I wonder - is your mummy aware of what you're up to? when did she last give
you a good clack round the earhole with a cluestick?
When you mature enough to behave like a human being, you will be welcome in
these groups - until then, I suggest that you go back to your own cess-pit
and stay there.

These groups?

This one at least does things properly and interleaves or bottom posts.

BTW. We're well aware that Tarquin is a touch short in the clues
department.

Tell you what - you lot ignore him and filter out his postings and we will
do the same, then we all get a peaceful life.

I'd love to - except for the fact that with over 2000 known people visiting
these groups every day, someone is bound to get the wrong idea, unless
corrections are posted.

Of course, since your group appears to be moderated in some fashion - unlike
the MS groups - you have a wider range of options than do we.

Nope. Not moderated just "defended" in some respects[1] and people tend to
run similar news fetching software which happens to contain a filter.

Some denizens will send complaints to ISP's when things are OTT. They are
also quite adept at tracing the real culprit so munging header lines
doesn't achieve much.
