I recall having to leave a message for a customer at their work to let them
know that their Magic Mushrooms had come in!

He was a policeman, I wonder what he's collegues made of it, as I only
realised afterwards that maybe I should made it clear that it was a computer
game:-)

Not sure if it is intentional, but the animated objects are insanely
fast on my RISCube/4.39. The machine is roughly 3x Iyonix speed
(depending on task) - I don't know how much limiting there is supposed
to be for the various animations.

The actual gameplay seems to be correct speed, it is just the
animation (eg. the wheels in the conveyor belts) which go round so
fast that you can't really tell what's going on.

I was looking for an announcement of the re-release. Sorry, I thought
Martin had said it was on StairwaytoHell but now I can't find anyone
mentioning that.

Thanks, both of you - I should hope it did on the Iyonix, as that's what
I tested it on. :-)

The date being 23 Feb, R-Comp
spouted the following:

The entire game (including the animations, which are plotted manually)
is limited to 25Hz - and yes, I can confirm taking that line out makes a
massive difference! If you're complaining about the unrealistic
animations (e.g. the wheels that make a full turn in 4 vsyncs) I'm
afraid that's the best I could do. :-)

They're insanely fast on an Iyonix, too... I'd assumed that it had been
programmed on a non-SA RiscPC.

Ditto. Playing speed is fine.
