APDL - Google for details.
If you have got an Acorn A4000 then you have a real A4000. There isn't another
A4000 that you could transfer Acorn 32-bit games to - except another Acorn
A4000 of course!

Are you using a real A4000 at the moment? If you're running an emulation -
which one are you running? (Our advice may need to be amended accordingly.)

BTW If you are going to use Acorn/RISC OS newsgroups you need to know that we
follow standard newsgroups protocol. ie don't top post and do get rid of
people's sigs. OE should do the snipping automatically but it doesn't work
properly - one reason we don't use Microsoft stuff. You can get free software
to put it right or proper software to replace OE - if you don't do either then
you need to do it manually. If you get yourself a later model Acorn/RISC OS
machine you'll find you can use software for e-mails/ngs and it works
properly. Not advisable using something as old as the A4000 though.

On 27 Sep 2005 as I do recall,

If you mean how do you get software downloaded off the Web by a Windows
PC onto your A4000 machine... use a floppy disc. RISC OS machines can
read DOS format floppies even though their native disc format is larger
(1.6Kb versus 1.44Kb) and their maximum basic filename length is longer
(10 characters versus 8), so if you copy the archive onto a floppy disc
and then insert the floppy into your A4000 you should be able to access
the file. You'll have to de-archive the actual software under RISC OS,
though, or it won't work properly.

People on this group can explain how to do this at some length if
you're having problems.

Yes i am using a REAL A4000 now, an i will look at what emus are out there
to have a play with, just wondering if there are any software title out
there that can be downloaded like the `spccy or 64` that can be used on
either and how to to put them back to floppy to use on the A4000 and if i
get used to it i might look at getting somthing bigger like an A7000 or
somthin.

Have a look at http://www.yqcomputer.com/
download. You can simply put them on a DOS floppy and the A4000 will read
them from there. You will probably also need !Sparkplug to unpack the
archives from http://www.yqcomputer.com/
