Having been playing SimCity 2000 on the demo of Aemulor pro, I started
fiddling around with some of the other old games.

However my problem is that I use an Iiyama AS4314, which can't cope with the
low screen resolutions of the early games.

I have tried using A310emu, which does appear to offer a solution but can't
work out how to write and set up a monitor definition mode. Has anyone done
this for my monitor.

Or is there some other way to get around the monitor position?

regards

John

A future version of Pro, which will be a free upgrade for existing users,
will address this problem. It will be able to resize the screen image
to one that your monitor can handle and likewise decouple the
game's frame rate from the display rate of your monitor because older
games tend to demand frequencies of 50Hz-60Hz which is very low for
modern displays.

Half of the code to do this has already been written in fact. I just
didn't have it ready in time for the first release.

HTH,

Adrian

Thanks for that Adrian.
I had a long chat with neil at the show, and was intending to post a reply
to the group about Pro. Already purchased my copy of Pro today.
