What world war 2 shooters are there on Risc OS? I know we have a few
ww2 flight simulators but I'm not aware of any shooters.

What do you mean, "shooters"? I also assume you mean "RISC OS".

If you mean "first-person" run-around-shooting-people type game, then
Eddie Edwards did a port of Wolfenstein 3D.

APDL scooped up Spitfire Fury from 4th Dimension (not published or
withdrawn) IIRC but you'll have to check their website.

If you do wish to get Wolfenstein 3D, Liquid Silicon and CJE are
selling some original copies rather cheap or buy the RISC User
Nutshell CD from R-Comp which has it included along with lots of other
goodies.

In article < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >,

When we did a retrospective of Wolfenstein 3D in Qercus 279 we were able to
arrange with RComp for a special offer for the Nutshell CD for Qercus readers.
Other details on page 18 of Qercus 279.

Wolfenstein 3d is certainly a good game on any platform. could someone
make it available again on a cd for a few pounds?

Well if someone would care to put me in touch with the copyright holder I'm
sure something could be arranged.

I don't understand why you wouldn't get more money from advertising
the Repton CD and putting that on CD when somebody wants to get it.

There's no obvious reason why they should - they weren't involved IIRC.
I suspect Eddie Edwards and ID Software share the copyrights.

So are ID software the people to talk to about it?

I don't see what Repton has to do with anything. I don't hold and never have
held any rights to Repton so it has absolutely nothing to do with me or this
thread. If you want to purchase a Repton CD contact Alligata Media.

Yes, 'sell' being the operative word. We didn't own any rights, just sold it
on behalf of Alligata Media.
