Fatter Agnus Installations

Does anyone know of any outfits in the U.S. that still upgrade older Amiga
500 Agnus chips to the "Fatter Agnus"? I've got two older Amigas that need
this upgrade, but am not able to find anyone who will provide this service.

Thanks,
Nate

If I recall correctly, all you have to do is cut a trace on the
motherboard to allow the Agnus to recognize 1MB of Chip RAM as opposed
to 512K.

If you are the least bit electronically inclined, it is an easy
modification to do.

You should be able to find the directions on Aminet.

I don't even have a Fatter Agnus chip (yet - I'm searching eBay for one).
But it would probably be better to have someone do it that has done it
before - just to be on the safe side. I've never soldered a circuit. :-)

I suppose... the first one I did was a bit on the messy side. :)
