Apple TechStep Diagnostic Hardware

Someone offered to sell me an Apple TechStep diagnostic hardware device.
It appears to be an older piece of diagnostic equipment sold to Apple
repair technicians to diagnose all aspect (serial ports, SCSI, ADB, etc.)
of older Mac computers. Anyone know if this piece of hardware can be used
to diagnose Apple II equipment?

No, I do not think so. The way it worked was you hooked it up to the MAC's
scsi port (as well as both serial), and the mac would actually boot off it,
if I recall correctly. It's been about 12 years since I've seen one. That
was at apple in Marlborough, Mass.
