Strange ResponseProcessingException

Strange ResponseProcessingException

Post by voivo » Sat, 19 Apr 2008 18:26:18

Hi,
we have a very strange problem occurring in our desktop application
when a web service (written in java) is called. This is happening only
from a few clients. From other clients in the same network the
application just works fine with no exception.

We have two clients (A with the error, B without the error):
I used a http sniffing tool to compare between the two HTTP
communications, and the only difference i noticed is a trailing 0 in
the response by the B client. The A client never receive the trailing
0. I don't know what this mean... the response is completely received
by each client and the request is identical!

I suppose there could be something like a third application blocking
some communications, but how can i try to solve this problem?

This are the details of the
Microsoft.Web.Services3.ResponseProcessingException (with inner
exception included)

Microsoft.Web.Services3.ResponseProcessingException: WSE910: An error
happened during the processing of a response message, and you can find
the error in the inner exception. You can also find the response
message in the Response property. ---> System.IO.IOException:

You left out the operator in question (logical negation, "!"). In
n869, thats 6.5.3.3p5:

The result of the logical negation operator ! is 0 if the value of
its operand compares unequal to 0, 1 if the value of its operand
compares equal to 0. The result has type int. The expression !E is
equivalent to (0==E).
