Knowing 'Military Intelligence' as well as I do; I'm torn on this issue.
We called them "Spooks" when I was in the Navy and we dreaded the sight of
them when we WEREN'T actively at war. They made ANY trip miserable.
First, yes, the acts were despicable, but, I suppose useful in encouraging
captives to divulge useful information. Not QUITE torturing them, but

MP's bearing the consequences?
The commander of the prison has stated that that wing was under the control
of the Spooks. And the Prison guards claim they were following the orders of
The spooks practically invented the old saw "You can't make an omlet,
without breaking some eggs." Unfortunately, every time I've ever heard
about the poor "eggs" they've always been American military dumb enough to
think they were following orders--and the "chefs" were never punished.
