File Conversion problem from Coreldraw (*.cdr) format to Autocad (*.dxf) format

I have some coreldraw files which need to be converted into Autocad
(*.dxf) format for further use in GIS database. The Coreldraw files is
having graphics (Land use maps) layers which are combination of both
Vector as well as Raster images. My understanding of the problem is
that since Corel files are to be used in Dxf format for GIS purposed,
the layers should be in vector format. But when I vectorise the raster
image layers they lose the 'FILL' propoerties and secondly the scaling
of different layres when conevrted to DXF format is also not proper.
Is each layers of Corel file need to be registered on a proper
scale/coordinate system while converting into dxf format. What are
other alternatives of converting a Coreldraw file to Autocad (DXF)
format?

Thanking you,
